70 posts down, 700 to go: Thank you for reading!
Happy Holidays and apologies for the meta-post in advance
When I started Real Finance Guy, I promised myself that I would NEVER write a meta-post: in other words, I would never write a blog about blogging. You probably already guessed it, but I am breaking that promise today. There are a couple of important reasons for that.
First of all, it’s Christmas and I am in a reflective and thankful mood. I wanted to take the opportunity to thank all of my regular readers. I am still flabbergasted that I have regular readers at all, but I am deeply and truly thankful for those who come back to RFG again and again. Just in the past year, this sleepy little outpost of financial thoughts has gone from basically 0 pageviews a month to close to 30,000! I appreciate the repeat readership most of all.
I can’t promise that every post will be interesting or pertinent to you, but I do promise that I will keep you in mind with every post that I write. I will always strive offer real, practical, and detailed financial advice for those of you that want it, as I promised in my very first post. The world doesn’t need another personal finance blog pondering the best way to save $5; I’m here to write about the tools and techniques with real leverage.
Also, I hesitate to toot my own horn but if you AREN’T a subscriber, you’re missing out! Sign up below, then read on because I want to know what you want to read about.
Where to next?
More than anything, I am writing this post to make sure that RFG stays interesting, timely, and pertinent for everyone who reads it. I want to know what you’d like to see more of, and what I have never written on in the first place!
